The lamp festival of Karthigai month. Thousands of oil lamps are lit throughout the temple, creating a spectacular display of light.
கார்த்திகை மாத விளக்கு திருவிழா. கோயில் முழுவதும் ஆயிரக்கணக்கான விளக்குகள் ஏற்றப்படும்.
About Thirukarthigai Deepam
Thirukarthigai Deepam is celebrated on the full moon day of Karthigai month. The entire temple complex is illuminated with thousands of oil lamps (agal vilakku). Evening is the best time for darshan.
