About Thulukka Nachiyar

According to "Thiruvarangam Kovil Ozhugu", a Muslim princess (Thillipathushavu) fell deeply in love with Azhagiya Manavalan (Lord Ranganatha). When her father attacked the temple, priests hid the deity. She searched devotedly until the Lord revealed himself to her. She is honored as one of the divine consorts, representing the universality of divine love.
