About Sri Dhanvantri

Dhanvantri emerged during Samudra Manthan (churning of ocean) holding the pot of Amrutham (nectar) to save the Devas from Vasuki's poison. This sannidhi is located in the 4th prakaram, elevated and east-facing. It is the only Dhanvantri shrine among major Vaishnava temples. People with health issues, chronic diseases visit for archana and prayers.
